Journal Policies – VJMR

Journal Policies

1. Peer Review Policy

All submissions to Vertex Journal of Multidisciplinary Research (VJMR) undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process. Each manuscript is evaluated by at least two qualified reviewers to ensure originality, clarity, validity, and contribution to the field. The editorial team reserves the right to make the final decision regarding publication after considering the reviewers’ feedback.

2. Open Access Policy

VJMR is an open access journal, meaning all published articles are freely available online without subscription or access fees. Readers may read, download, copy, distribute, and use content lawfully, provided the original work is properly cited.

3. Plagiarism Policy

The journal enforces a strict zero-tolerance policy against plagiarism. All manuscripts are screened using plagiarism detection software prior to review. Submissions containing plagiarized material or unethical practices are rejected immediately.

4. Publication Ethics

VJMR adheres to ethical guidelines established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). Authors must ensure their work is original, accurately referenced, and free from fabrication or falsification. Editors and reviewers must maintain confidentiality, fairness, and transparency throughout the review process.

5. Copyright Policy

Upon publication, authors retain copyright of their work while granting VJMR the right of first publication. Articles are distributed under a Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY), allowing sharing and adaptation with proper citation.

6. Conflict of Interest

Authors must disclose any financial or personal relationships that could influence their research. Editors and reviewers are also required to declare conflicts of interest prior to participation in the review or decision-making process.

7. Withdrawal and Retraction Policy

Authors may request manuscript withdrawal before publication for valid reasons. Published papers may be retracted in cases of ethical breaches, plagiarism, or falsified data, with a formal retraction notice issued by the editorial board.

8. Privacy and Confidentiality

The journal ensures complete confidentiality of author and reviewer information. Data shared during submission and review is not disclosed to any third party without explicit consent.

9. Author Responsibilities

Authors must confirm that their submission is original, unpublished elsewhere, and not under consideration by another journal. Proper citation and acknowledgment of all sources are mandatory.

10. Editorial Independence

The editorial board of VJMR maintains complete independence, ensuring decisions are based solely on scholarly merit, free from commercial or institutional influence.
